The QuantaDose UVC Test Card was the world’s first reusable test card that included a luminescent wavelength indicator, which allows consumers to quickly visualize the wavelength of UVA or UVC light and help determine if the light source is an effective method of inactivating viruses and other pathogens. The test card is designed to help consumers discern fraudulent ultraviolet-C (UV-C) disinfection lighting products from scientifically-proven effective ones. The company Quanta X Technology LLC, founded in 2020, developed this technology with the goal of creating pandemic countermeasures that include germicidal communications research, new innovative Far-UV, and UVC intensity testing methods.
Three years after the pandemic started and the launch of the first reusable UVC test card, Quanta X Technology is here with the newest and most advanced tool in self-powered UV light testing, the QuantaDose 3rd Gen Multi-Wavelength Bi-Luminescent UV-A, UV-B, UV-C, and Far-UV C Test Card is a cutting-edge tool that allows you to quickly and easily visualize the intensity, wavelength, and type of UV light for effective nearly instant UV testing.
So, Are you tired of not knowing the intensity, wavelength, and type of UV light you’re dealing with? Well, have no fear, because the QuantaDose 3rd Gen Multi-Wavelength Bi-Luminescent Test Card is here!
First up, in the large circle, we have the Longwave analyte test. This test is sensitive to artificial sources of 300-395 nanometers of UVA/UVB light. Before exposure, it’s clear, but when exposed to a Longwave UV source, it will glow in a range of red to red-pink color. This is perfect for testing 365nm/395nm UV flashlights and professional nail gel and curing UV lights.
Next, in the same circle, we have the Shortwave analyte test. This test is sensitive to artificial sources of between 220-275 nanometers of UV-C light. Before exposure, it’s clear, but when exposed to a Shortwave UVC source, it will glow in a range of green to yellow-lime color. This instantly indicates when UV G I wavelengths are present.
And now, for the two Photochromic tests, located in the large rectangle and the inner circle. This test uses a wide-band UV analyte sensitive to artificial or natural sources of light between 200 and 400 nanometers. Before exposure, it’s clear, but after exposure displays shades of purple. This is perfect for testing the intensity of anything UV, including UV-B reptile lights, with an instant notification when unsafe wavelengths are present.
And finally, we have the Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UV G I) Intensity Test. The inner center small circle is a two-part test that will display the letters “UV” for a brief amount of time (3 to 15 seconds) which confirms power is above 300 microwatts when exposed to 254 nanometers of UV-C light. It is essential to note that you must confirm you are measuring a UVC source using the small top rectangle (Step 1) displaying the letters UV-C when directly exposed to the light source being tested.
And, to make sure you’re always safe, we’ve added a UV-C Far-UV-C light beam detector on the back of the test card. This is useful when installing Far-UV lighting in occupied spaces and provides the largest shortwave luminescent surface area available on the market that still fits in your wallet. This is precisely what professional UV G I installers need to detect UV-C and Far-UV-C beam angles to ensure compliance with time-to-limit values!
So, don’t wait any longer. Get your QuantaDose 3rd Gen Multi-Wavelength Bi-Luminescent Test Card today! And remember, when not in use, keep it stored in the supplied UV-resistant zip-lock sleeve or in a dark, dry place. Limit UV light exposure times to 15 seconds for over 500 tests.
